We are a not-for-profit organisation with our own independent Board of Trustees.
We have been around since 2004 and over that period we established Eastside People which is recognised as one of the top social enterprises in the country, featuring within the Natwest SE 100 of the UK’s 100 most impressive social enterprises.
We take pride in the way we have adapted our work to meet the changing world in which chariities and social enterprises operate. Initially we focused on mid and late-career transition into the charity sector. We then became involved in consultancy and directly supporting grant funders, including a number of Government funded programmes. Today, we are focusd on incubating social projects utilising volunteers who have a breadth of skills and experience.
